Anne Cameron, MD

Anne Pelletier Cameron, MD, FRCSC, FPMRS, the James Montie Legacy Professor of Urology at the University of Michigan and Associate Chair of Quality and Safety and Service Chief for the Department of Urology, and director of the Clinical Urology Research Endeavor (CURE). She received her undergraduate degree at the University of New Brunswick. After completing her medical degree at the University of Ottawa and residency in urology at Dalhousie University, Dr. Cameron came to the University of Michigan for a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstruction. Dr. Cameron remains at the university as an active clinician and participates in several research trials, including the NIDDK Funded LURN. Her clinical interests include complex incontinence, female urethral disease, and the care of neurogenic bladder. She also has a strong interest in medical education and is associate fellowship director and clerkship director for the urology residency.

Dr. Cameron is active with the Society of Women in Urology, serving as the president and as the annual meeting planner and active with the AUA serving on the Core Curriculum and a member on the Neurologic Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction Guideline Committee. Dr. Cameron has also been very active with SUFU serving on the Executive Committee and the SUFU Urodynamics Antibiotic Prophylaxis Task Force and awarded the Paul Zimskind research award in 2018.
